Are you a Health and Safety rep or member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee in your workplace on behalf of your PSAC local who has already taken a previous Health and Safety CLC Part II course?

If so, then this course is for you! Come and learn about the draconian changes that have been made to the Canada Labour Code Part II – Occupational Health and Safety by the conservative government. These changes affect all federally regulated employees. Here in BC that includes everyone except for the Island Commissionaires and the First Nations Health Authority (both of which are covered by provincial legislation).

Preference will be given to existing Health and Safety Committee members who have already completed the H&S CLC Part II course … one person per local or workplace committee.

Please note that we intend to offer this course or a similar course again in 2015 so if you are not selected or are unable to attend this year, you may have another opportunity.
