Nationally, PSAC is currently in negotiations with CFIA, CRA, Parks Canada, SSO, and the Treasury Board: FB, EB, PA, SV and TC groups. PSAC’s bargaining teams are working hard at the table to improve collective agreements and strengthen the federal public service. They can’t do it alone, the teams need the support and the solidarity of the PSAC members they represent.

Collectively we have a lot of strength. Join with members across the country and support our teams!

Visibility in the workplace – letting the employer know that we stand behind the team – is key to showing that strength. Wearing a bracelet, a button, or a sticker, or taking any form of workplace action shows the employer and your supervisor that you’re aware of the issues, that you’re concerned about the issues, and that you are demonstrating solidarity.

Federal workers across Canada have been holding actions during National Public Service Week, calling on the government to respect the constitutional rights of federal employees.

The government’s National Public Service Week is June 14-20, 2015. The national week is supposed to recognize the importance of federal public service employees and celebrate their service to Canadians. Meanwhile, this government is gutting public services and trampling on our rights.
Federal law enforcement personnel gather to protest Bill C-59 and defend workers’ rights

Members of the Customs and Immigration Union, the Component Union of the Public Service Alliance of Canada that represents over 1,600 workers at the Canadian Border Services Agency in BC, are travelling from locations across the Lower Mainland and Southern Interior to leaflet and rally against Bill C-59 on Thursday, June 4 at 10 AM at Deltaport. PSAC/CIU members working at CBSA are holding actions across Canada on June 4, calling on the government to respect the constitutional rights of federal employees.
