Last night, the Public Service Alliance of Canada launched another video as part of its Third Choice campaign. In this one, a giant squirrel disrupts a meat inspector and secretly plants non-inspected meat in a young mother’s grocery cart.

New at the 2012 PSAC Convention: A Members’ Plan

Every three years, the PSAC holds its Triennial National Convention, where delegates from across the union come together, debate issues and set direction for the Union for the next three years.We will be doing something new at the PSAC 2012 Convention: for the first time, delegates will have the opportunity to debate and adopt a “Members’ Plan”.The plan is designed to set the direction for the Union for the next three years.

Move to abolish gun registry puts Canadians' safety at risk

The federal government is expected to introduce a bill today that would abolish the Canadian long-gun registry. This is after a similar private members' bill was narrowly defeated last fall. This time, the bill is expected to be forced into law by a majority Conservative government that has spent years attempting to discredit and destroy this important public safety tool.
