The Public Service Alliance of Canada represents more than 170,000 workers in every province and territory in Canada and in locations around the world. Our members work for federal government departments and agencies, Crown Corporations, universities, casinos, community services agencies, Aboriginal communities, airports, and the security sector among others. PSAC is headquartered in Ottawa with 23 regional offices across Canada.

We are happy to announce that PSAC-BC Region will be holding a Young Workers education/planning session for our members 30 years of age or younger Saturday, December 7, 2013 (12:00 p.m.–4:30 p.m.) to Sunday, December 8, 2013 (9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.) at the PSAC Vancouver Regional Office. We encourage PSAC Young Workers from across BC to apply.

The PSAC-BC Young Worker Caucus conducted an on-line survey of young workers with various questions including the importance of sick leave, thoughts on union dues, support of a provincial-wide childcare campaign and more - and young workers definitely had something to say.We've shared the results with our Young Worker Committee members and look forward to hearing what they think and what they're planning next.
