If we miss the initial filing of a grievance or the transmittal of grievances between levels we shortchange one or more of our members. In order to avoid this happening we have updated and posted several grievance time line flowcharts, more will follow for other bargaining units.

New Collective Agreement Ratified at Victoria Airport

Approximately 30 workers at Victoria International Airport have a new collective agreement.

Members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) / Union of Canadian Transportation Employees (UCTE) Local 20209 working at the airport voted Friday to ratify a tentative agreement reached last week.

Highlights of the four-year contract, which expires in March 2020, include fair wage increases, an increase in standby pay and meal allowances, improvements to the benefits package, and the inclusion of the firefighters group in the contract language around shift premiums.
