Women have fought for equity for many years. Now, we are faced with huge job cuts in the public service and those cuts clearly hurt women. We have published a pamphlet entitled "Job Cuts Hurt Women And We're Fighting Back!" If you haven't seen it - email me at megyesk@psac-afpc.com and I will get one to you.

At the end of this month, PSAC will host their 16th triennial convention in Ottawa. PSAC women from across Canada will help to set the direction of our union and many important resolutions on issues such as childcare and violence against Aboriginal women will be presented. Updates during the convention will be posted on www.psac-afpc.com and we invite you to check it out.
