Draft Agenda

  1. AGM minutes to be passed at next AGM. Last meeting minutes were passed at the AGM. There are no minutes to review for this meeting.
  2. Syrian refugee action update and planning.
  3. Surrey Pride
    • Cost: $250. May be covered by REVP’s office.
    • The application deadline for all Surrey Pride 2016 Sponsors is May 01, 2016 and MUST include your payment.
    • Surrey Pride Festival setup starts on Sunday June 26th, 2016 at 9 am. Set-up completion, including removal of all non-essential vehicles, must be completed by 11:00 a.m. Sunday, June 26th, 2016.
    • Vendors are required to remain until festival ending, NO EXCEPTIONS. Festival site tear down cannot commence sooner than 5 pm on June 26th, 2016.  Vendor spaces must be returned to their original condition. This includes the removal of any and all garbage and recycling used in your displays. No vehicles are permitted on-site for tear down until 5 pm. Each Vendor must check out with on site event staff located at the Surrey Pride booth to ensure the safe return of all equipment & cleanliness of the site itself.
    • We will discuss at the meeting if this is an event we are able to take on and have sufficient interest for. Last year there were many volunteers from Area Councils, our Committee, and other Committees.
