Dear PSAC members in BC,
The World Pride Human Rights Conference is being held from June 25-27, 2014 in Toronto, in conjunction with the World Pride Celebrations, also taking place in the city. PSAC is sending a delegation to the Conference, including members from BC, who will be fully funded to represent PSAC’s GLBT community.
In order to be considered for selection as the delegate representing the PSAC BC Region, you will need to self-identify as a member of the GLBT group, and hold a union position within the PSAC. You will need to be available for the full duration of the Conference, including the PSAC caucus meeting (date TBA).
You will also be expected to write a final report on the World Pride Human Rights Conference to the GLBT constituency within the PSAC BC.
The final selection of the delegates to the Conference will be made by REVP, in consultation with the BC Regional Council Pride Coordinator, shortly after the application deadline of May 9th.
Please fill in the attached form (.doc and .pdf below) and send it by email to JacksoB@psac-afpc.com no later than May 9, 2014. Your responses to the questions will be considered in the final selection of the delegate who will represent the region.
